WEATHER AND CLIMATE:
Winter (November-April): Breckenridge is known for its 300 inches of annual snowfall which provide phenomenal outdoor recreation conditions. With an average temperature of 28 degrees during the day and 15 degrees at night, that magical Colorado sunshine warms up every winter adventure you’ll enjoy. The sun can be intense at elevation, so protect your skin with sunscreen and your eyes with sunglasses or goggles. Weather conditions can change quickly and dramatically in the High Country so it's always a good idea to have additional layers of clothing on hand. Low humidity is a plus, and you'll want to stay hydrated with two to three times your normal intake of water.
Summer (June-September): Summer in Breckenridge brings sunshine, breathtaking bluebird skies and beautiful scenery. At an average temperature of 70 degrees during the day and 50 degrees at night, typical summer apparel works great for most activities. Guests should wear sunscreen and consider wearing a hat for added protection. A quick afternoon rain shower is to be expected and will come and go (There are 2 umbrellas in the condo for guest use). Evenings will cool off considerably and often call for a hoodie or light jacket.
Fall and Spring (October, May): Fall and spring are also terrific times to visit Breckenridge. You can enjoy the same fantastic mountains and crisp alpine air without the crowds. Many of the boutiques and restaurants around town offer up deals during the off-season as well. The weather becomes a bit more unpredictable, but you can still enjoy many of the same outdoor activities as during high season.
