Fly Fishing: Colorado trout are a bit different than anywhere else making the fly fishing in and around Breck slightly more difficult. Go talk to Breckenridge Outfitters to see what’s biting where and string up that rod for an incredible day in Colorado. 970-453-4135

Hiking: There are many beautiful hikes in and near Breckenridge. We have listed a few favorites on our Hiking page on this website. There are also guided hikes if you are interested in something like that!

Mountain Biking: There are a hundred plus trails in Breckenridge. Download the "MTB Project" App to help with trails while you're here. It's got difficulty ratings, directions to trailheads, pictures, trail reports, etc. It's really awesome! Mountain biking can be intimidating so starting off like you would skiing is a great call. Take a lesson from a mountain bike guide to hone your skills, try a new trail, or just learn what Breck mountain can offer you.

Coast your Bikes down Vail Pass!!! Get dropped off at the top of Vail Pass and cruise downhill 12 miles back to Frisco or you can ride all the way back to Breck!

Road Biking: Your road bike can take you anywhere. Hit the road and head toward Swan Mountain Road for a steep climb to Sapphire point or if you prefer, you can stay on the bike path and ride all the way to Vail!

Downhill Biking: You can do plenty of mountain biking in Breckenridge without having to go on the resort. However, if you are interested in just the downhill part, you can take the chairlift up with your bike and ride down.

Skateboarding: The Breckenridge Skate Park was completely renovated in October 2014, expanding to a .4 acre with an 11-foot bowl and other features for skaters of all levels. New features include a snake run, beginner bowl, advanced bowl and skateable historic mine cart. Youth and adults are welcome to use the park for free during daylight hours. Several competitions are held throughout the summer months at the Park. Happy Hour: Some of our favorite Happy hours are Southridge Seafood (Best outdoor seating!!!!), The Briar Rose, Twist, Hearthstone, Blue River Bistro, and Quandary Grill. Most of the restaurants in town have a happy hour and there are a lot of great ones! So just walk around and see what strikes your fancy!

EPIC Discovery/Breckenridge Fun Park: (970) 453-5000. On an unlimited Fun Park ticket you can zoom down the Gold Runner Coaster, pan for gold, bounce in the bounce house, putt putt golf, take a scenic chairlift ride, speed down the Alpine Slide, climb the climbing wall, navigate the Mineshaft Maze, and bounce on the trampoline (and more!). Chances are your legs will be exhausted at the end of it all, but you’ll have a fantastic smile on your face. This is something really fun to do with the kiddos!

Go to the Symphony: The National Repertory Orchestra is based in Breck and puts on some of the most incredible symphonies in Colorado. Concerts are held a few times a week throughout the summer. Check out the calendar of events.

Mount Princeton Hot Springs: These are pretty awesome because the springs are right in the river...so pretty unique! Mountain Princeton Hot Springs is about 1.5 hours from Breckenridge.

Hot Sulphur Springs: This is another great option! We like these a lot because there are a bunch of different tubs that are all different sizes and temperatures. This is also about a 1.5 hour drive from Breckenridge. For a scenic drive, make sure to take UTE Pass Road/County Road 3.

Treat Yourself to a Day at the Spa!: Treat yourself to a relaxing day at the spa! At both the Grand Lodge at Peak 7 and the Lodge at Breckenridge, you can use their amazing facilities if you book an appointment with them! Both places also have restaurants that are quite delicious!

The Grand Lodge at Peak 7: Located at the base of Peak 7. You can drive, take the free bus, or take the gondola up!

The Lodge at Breckenridge: The Lodge is located up Boreas Pass Road. It has breathtaking views. They also offer a free seasonal shuttle service to/from Main Street Breckenridge.
