Shopping

Oh my goodness!  Breckenridge has sooo much shopping!  Especially if you want some sweet new ski/snowboard gear!  Here are just a few of our favorites.  But seriously…there are so many shops in town.  We suggest just walking down main street/Ridge Street one evening and checking it out!

Mountain Outfitters: 112 S. Ridge Street http://www.mtnoutfitters.com  (970) 453-2201 -These guys are fantastic!  Whenever we’re looking for our higher end products, this is where we go.  They have a large selection of casual and technical clothing, base layers, insulation, hard shells, soft shells, down, synthetics, hats, etc.  This is one of our personal favorites to purchase our outdoor clothing.  Seriously….this place is awesome.

Mountain Wave: 600 S. Park Avenue http://www.mountainwave.com/home/  (970) 453-8305 This is the place to go if you’re looking for something that’s in style!  They have awesome ski and snowboard gear (helmets, goggles, bags, sweatshirts, long-underwear, jackets, pants, etc.).  Seriously….this place is awesome.  Look good, feel good, ride good!

Big City Blues: 226 S. Main Street:  Ladies, this hip boutique is like shopping in a big city! Great selection of high-end jeans, tops, dresses and such.  They also have a great sale room tucked in the back.  Check it out for some great deals!

Vintage Sweet & Chic: 215 S. Main Street: You’ll find some unique clothing finds at this boutique.

Belvedere & Hern: 308 A South Main Street (970) 409-2086.  This is one of my favorite shops for unique and quality gifts!  http://www.belviderehern.com/gallery/ You must check it out!  It’s also owned and operated by two awesome locals who are usually in the shop.  They also have a new shop called Lucille’s that is only about 20 feet from the Belvedere and Hern Store.  Might as well check that one out while you’re in the area!  Make sure you mention that you’re the guest of Elisa Zeiset for a 5% locals discount.

Breck Wine and Cheese: 304 S. Main Street (970) 453-7212.  What a great place to pick up unique wines, specialty cheeses and chocolates, and other unique foods.  This is a fabulous place for gifts or a nice place to treat yourself!  Check out their $10 wine rack…I always do!  https://www.breckwineandcheese.com/

Breckenridge Distillery Tasting Room: The Breckenridge Distillery has a tasting room in the town square.   Located in the heart of downtown Breckenridge at 137 S. Main St they offer complimentary tastings daily from 11 am to 9 pm.  A great place to purchase gifts...truffles, spirits, mugs, glasses, etc.  Definitely check it out!  http://breckenridgedistillery.com/tours/

Magical Scraps Boutique and Studio: 310 S. Main Street (970) 453-6023.  Magical Scraps offers a wide variety of unique boutique clothing & accessories for women and children.  http://www.magicalscraps.com/index.html

Mountain Goat Clothing Company:  117 S. Main Street (970) 453-4628.  Another great outdoorsy clothing company.  High end and stylish outdoor clothing.  Love this place!  And of course…always check out the sale rack in the back of the store.  ;)  https://www.facebook.com/TheMountainGoatClothingCo/

Ruby Jane: 223 S. Main Street (970) 423-6947.  An eclectic store of jewelry, clothing, home goods, and other unique gifts.  I love this place for the variety and uniqueness! https://rubyjane.com/

Valley Girl: 125 S. Main Street (970) 453-9383.  A women’s clothing store with jewelry and clothing...these are the same owners as Ruby Jane.  I love this place because the price ranges are all over the place where you can splurge or find something more affordable.  Great customer service as well! https://valleygirlboutique.com/

The Clothing Cooperative: 100 N. Main Street #208 info@theclothingcooperative.com  http://www.theclothingcooperative.com/  I happened to pop into this store after it had been around for over a year!  Shows how much I go shopping these days!  Anyways, super cool little consignment store.  They had some really nice things and I was pretty impressed!  A great place to go if Consignment is your thing!

Wild Balance Jewelry: Although you will not find a store called Wild Balance, you will see their jewelry all over town...and you will see every local female wearing Wild Balance Earrings!  You can find Annie's (Wild Balance) jewelry in a bunch of shops around town.  Here is a LIST of retail locations that carry Wild Balance jewelry.  Great gift for yourself or someone at home!
